Chicago Ridge Mall
Located in the suburb of Chicago Ridge, 20 miles southwest of downtown Chicago is the Chicago Ridge Mall. The 833,000 square foot mall first opened in 1981. With a large expansion happening in 1986 when it was formerly known as Westfield Chicago Ridge (ownership changed in 2012) the mall has remained a single story building featuring three anchor stores and many smaller boutique like stores.
The three anchor stores that have been in Chicago Ridge Mall since the early days are Carson Pirie Scott, Kohl’s and Sears. A few of the other retailers that can be found are Oxford Jewelers, Relax Magic, Shoe Trends, Lids, Sunglass Hut, Forever 21 and Spencer’s. The Chicago Ridge Mall has a designated food court, to feed everyone’s craving. You could choose Burger King, Subway, Taco Bell or get a juice from Whispers Gelato and Juice Bar, there are plenty more options. There are also specialty food shops including Auntie Anne’s, Candy Junction and Cinnabon. For a formal dining experience there are a number of restaurants to choose from, Buffalo Wild Wings and Five Guys Burgers and Fries are inside the mall, and just outside you can find Chic-fill-A an Chili’s.
There is a dedicated play area for the kids and an AMC Cinema playing all of the latest box office hits.
